THE FIRST OF MANY FIRSTS!

I can start by saying- Namaste! Welcome to my blog!

OR
Hello all! Here's presenting my very first post on my blog!

OR I can simply say,

This is my first ever post and honestly, I'm not quite sure what to write about! This time round, I'm not at a loss of words, but I have so much to say I'm not sure sure where to begin and what all to include!

They say that a blog is a personal space where you can vent out your feelings, laugh, cry or even abuse. I want my blog to be a mixed bag of emotions where the writing need not follow a particular road and where it has the freedom to flows like a lazy river.

Just like my first blog, I've had many enjoyable 'firsts' in life. One of the few recent firsts is my first job! The moment I was accepted made me realize my potential and the fact that I was chosen for my qualities and my abilities. I made it to a job with absolutely no influence and I got accepted! It's already been 6 months since...

There's a long running list of many firsts which I can add to my credentials. The first time I got drunk, my first ever sip of champagne, the first hookah drag (which I absolutely hated btw)! Let's just hope that while all of these lurk in the shadows or even vanish away into nothingness, my first blog becomes the first of many!

Look out for many more of these right here and hopefully in good time!

  2. Chocolate and me have a long history so I don't remember tasting it. I can't put a date to it, but I can say that it was probably sometime when I was 4 or 5. Why do you ask?

Namma Metro in Bengaluru!

After many months of, well, struggling rather hard at my workplace and thus not giving enough time to my blog, I now find myself in the land of gardens and now the land of Namma Metro! Only months after it began I consider myself among the lucky 10,000 to experience the much awaited Metro ride in Bangalore. And it was definitely worth the wait! So, how was it all? Smooth as hell! As of now, the Metro operates only in seven stations- from M.G. road to Byanapalli and it takes just about 15 minutes and costs just Rs.15! With sparkling clean interiors that is comfortably air-conditioned, there is adequate space to sit and stand. There are even small TV screens displaying educational content, while the male and female announcers are continuously announcing either the station names or regular instructions. To maintain this level of cleanliness, no food or drink is allowed anywhere on the Metro or any of the stations. Without further ado, let's bring out the visuals!! First view ...

Lost in Brownie Bliss!

There seems no hope at all, and honestly after a point in time, you're craving brownies! Gooey, chocolate, millionaire brownies! What the hell?! Cravings don't really have a time and place and that's why they appear out of nowhere finding a place in the pit of your stomach! Your finger accidentally touches the browser window and voila, there's a recipe on my blog for brownies opened up right there! Oh c'mon! Temptations in the middle of the forest is so unfair! (Mental note to self: Make them as soon as you reach home!) So without further ado, let's put you'll out of the misery of knowing this wonderful recipe and seeing the pictures to put a face to it all! Gooey Millionaire Crusty...

To Town and Back...!

"What's wrong," she asked. I looked at her curiously and said, "Absolutely nothing! Why would there be something wrong on a day like this?" Confused? I am talking about the stunning weather that Bombay is experiencing this very minute! Light blue clouds and windy skies; can it get any better? While I was lying around on the ' katta' just staring into nothingness, my sister seemed to have got a little worried about my condition! Our morning started early, giving us more hours in this day. We stepped out of home at 7 only to drive to town and meet a certain gentleman at the Taj. Following which our hungry tummies were satisfied by a scrumptious breakfast at Cafe Mondegar! Bacon, eggs, sausages...the works! We even had a group of Harley hurlers give us company at breakfast, only to ride off into the sunset?! No wait, that is a completely wrong image! It's more like them to snarl off into the busy, robust streets of Mumbai and then onto some wide hi...
