FOOD FOOD FOOD- You can never get enough of it, can ya?!

In case you haven't already guessed from the title, I am a big foodie! Food is different in every region- there are so many different flavours, so many colours, and so many combinations! How can one ever have eaten enough of it ?! I'm pretty darned sure that I cannot! So when one asks me what my favourite food is, I never seem to have an answer for it, because there's such a wide array to choose from that one answer just doesn't satisfy the question!

Food seems to be perpetually on my mind! I've even had dreams about food! Not to forget, I'm always planning what to pack for lunch the next day! :P

Moving on...

You know you're a foodie when:

  1. You relish each bite of your meal.
  2. You're already thinking of lunch at breakfast!
  3. You're already planning dessert at starters!
  4. You're content with your dessert choice but that doesn't stop you from tasting the others!
  5. You take atleast 15 minutes to decide your order once everyone is done choosing theirs!
  6. You know the best of the best places to eat each meal.
  7. You want to try a new place to eat all the time...
  8. You have something small but nice to eat on you at any point of time!
  9. You overhear a conversation about food and seem to join in effortlessly...
  10. Your friends consult you, almost all the time, about which place to eat at, and probably even which dish!
Well, I can confidently agree with each and every point of the ten points! So what does that make me ultimately?! A big sucker for food! So are you one too?!

Namma Metro in Bengaluru!

After many months of, well, struggling rather hard at my workplace and thus not giving enough time to my blog, I now find myself in the land of gardens and now the land of Namma Metro! Only months after it began I consider myself among the lucky 10,000 to experience the much awaited Metro ride in Bangalore. And it was definitely worth the wait! So, how was it all? Smooth as hell! As of now, the Metro operates only in seven stations- from M.G. road to Byanapalli and it takes just about 15 minutes and costs just Rs.15! With sparkling clean interiors that is comfortably air-conditioned, there is adequate space to sit and stand. There are even small TV screens displaying educational content, while the male and female announcers are continuously announcing either the station names or regular instructions. To maintain this level of cleanliness, no food or drink is allowed anywhere on the Metro or any of the stations. Without further ado, let's bring out the visuals!! First view ...

Your finger accidentally touches the browser window and voila, there's a recipe on my blog for brownies opened up right there! Oh c'mon! Temptations in the middle of the forest is so unfair! (Mental note to self: Make them as soon as you reach home!) So without further ado, let's put you'll out of the misery of knowing this wonderful recipe and seeing the pictures to put a face to it all! Gooey Millionaire Crusty...

To Town and Back...!

"What's wrong," she asked. I looked at her curiously and said, "Absolutely nothing! Why would there be something wrong on a day like this?" Confused? I am talking about the stunning weather that Bombay is experiencing this very minute! Light blue clouds and windy skies; can it get any better? While I was lying around on the ' katta' just staring into nothingness, my sister seemed to have got a little worried about my condition! Our morning started early, giving us more hours in this day. We stepped out of home at 7 only to drive to town and meet a certain gentleman at the Taj. Following which our hungry tummies were satisfied by a scrumptious breakfast at Cafe Mondegar! Bacon, eggs, sausages...the works! We even had a group of Harley hurlers give us company at breakfast, only to ride off into the sunset?! No wait, that is a completely wrong image! It's more like them to snarl off into the busy, robust streets of Mumbai and then onto some wide hi...
