Is that silver lining close enough?

(A post I had written far back in the time. when I was only 21, and something I should have released a while ago!)

This particular post has been inspired from something I read recently. Being a confused 21-yr old is probably not a new phenomena, but it's definitely new for every recently turned 21-yr old individual!

It's that time of your life when you're not sure if life is being a bitch only to you or the world over. You often wonder where you lie at... Sometimes you gain clarity over the silliest of things, yet sometimes it feels like someone's used a gigantic eraser to blur your life out!

The only clarity I have in recent times is that I'm on a break and I can see something very positive at the end of the horizon- a silver lining of sorts. And it's a gorgeous one I must say! But not everyone stretches far enough to see that. I think it's okay. A year back, no matter how much I stretched it was the same old, dark and disappearing shades of the sunset. As long as you know that you're stretching far enough into the horizon and not swathing your thoughts, you know you're making an effort. The beauty of this phenomenon is the varying shades you get to see in that time span. Of course, it's not always your favourite colours and sometimes it takes very long to catch a glimpse of that glowing silver. Yet, it is there, somewhere, only waiting to be discovered.

There's happy news too in this post you know! Sometimes, that silver lining takes charge and changes its course! It honestly depends on what colour you want to see at the end of the day...

Namma Metro in Bengaluru!

After many months of, well, struggling rather hard at my workplace and thus not giving enough time to my blog, I now find myself in the land of gardens and now the land of Namma Metro! Only months after it began I consider myself among the lucky 10,000 to experience the much awaited Metro ride in Bangalore. And it was definitely worth the wait! So, how was it all? Smooth as hell! As of now, the Metro operates only in seven stations- from M.G. road to Byanapalli and it takes just about 15 minutes and costs just Rs.15! With sparkling clean interiors that is comfortably air-conditioned, there is adequate space to sit and stand. There are even small TV screens displaying educational content, while the male and female announcers are continuously announcing either the station names or regular instructions. To maintain this level of cleanliness, no food or drink is allowed anywhere on the Metro or any of the stations. Without further ado, let's bring out the visuals!! First view ...

To Town and Back...!

"What's wrong," she asked. I looked at her curiously and said, "Absolutely nothing! Why would there be something wrong on a day like this?" Confused? I am talking about the stunning weather that Bombay is experiencing this very minute! Light blue clouds and windy skies; can it get any better? While I was lying around on the ' katta' just staring into nothingness, my sister seemed to have got a little worried about my condition! Our morning started early, giving us more hours in this day. We stepped out of home at 7 only to drive to town and meet a certain gentleman at the Taj. Following which our hungry tummies were satisfied by a scrumptious breakfast at Cafe Mondegar! Bacon, eggs, sausages...the works! We even had a group of Harley hurlers give us company at breakfast, only to ride off into the sunset?! No wait, that is a completely wrong image! It's more like them to snarl off into the busy, robust streets of Mumbai and then onto some wide hi...
